More
We regenerate brownfield sites into beautiful developments that are designed with the surrounding countryside in mind. We use traditional building materials and incorporate the very latest in energy-saving materials and technologies to construct truly beautiful and energy-efficient homes.
As a client of The Good House Company, you will enjoy the opportunity to fully customise your new home, resulting in a truly bespoke home that is uniquely yours.
We offer a full turnkey service, in which our team of experienced technicians and project managers will work closely with you and your chosen architect, to guide you through the house-build process from start to finish.
We will ensure that your build runs smoothly, on time, and within budget. We will liaise with the local planning department and building inspectors, and have a dedicated team of tradespeople, preferred subcontractors, and trusted suppliers to deliver a home that you can be truly proud of.
We have a wealth of experience in the renovation and extension of older properties, adapting them into useable living space whilst retaining their character and charm. We have a team of highly skilled tradespeople and subcontractors with experience in traditional trades such as stonemasonry and lime rendering, who can give an older property a new lease of life.
The Good House Company was very proud to have received the Scottish Home Awards 2021 Renovation of the Year for our Inchrye Steading.
We can provide full architect design services. Our in-house architect will work with you to create a design brief to suit your particular needs. A set of draft plans will be produced in line with local planning guidelines. Modifications will be made until we produce full plans ready for planning application submission.
We also offer a no obligation land appraisal service in which a housing expert will visit and assess the land you are interested in purchasing. They will advise on housing types that could potentially receive planning approval and give a good indication of the cost of servicing the site with utility connections.
